Our Story

The Ebrax Group began its activities in 2001 with the goal of developing, industrialising, commercialising electronic solutions, maintaining its products and providing technical consulting in the development of solutions aimed at the banking and value transportation sectors.

100% Brazilian capital with four proprietary units located in the city of São José dos Campos in the State of São Paulo. With a total built area of 3000 m², the company's headquarters hosts our engineering and project teams, the production sector, administrative area and the customer support team.

Our Timeline

  • Foundation of the company Ebrax Industria e Comercio ltda, in Piracicaba/SP.​
  • Focus on protection devices against residential and industrial electrical surges.​​
  • Began operations in the banking sector, with the launch of the anti-skimming solution using a capacitive sensor (G0) and subsequent inclusion of the electromagnetic transducer.
  • Development of the capacitive sensor generation 1 (G1) for anti-skimming solutions, with more specific features and the possibility of sensitivity adjustment.
  • Updating of the anti-skimming solution to the EBX 1033 model, with added features.
  • Opening of the second company in the group – Ebrax Electronic Security Systems ltda.
  • Starting of the exports of Anti Skimming kits to Argentina, Colombia, Central America and Mexico.
  • Introduction of the new Ebrax rupture sensor.​
  • Launch of the Deep Insert Sensor, protecting the inner part of the card reader against a new type of fraud discovered in the same year.
  • Launch of the S.G.S. solution (Safe Guard System).
  • Introduction of the anti-fishing solution, focused on protecting against attacks on the deposit module.
  • Granted by INPI the Patent - Anti-fraud device for banking self-service terminals.
  • Launch of the capacitive sensor generation 2 (G2), for anti-skimming solutions.
  • Launch of the passive inkling solution for money cassettes.
  • Granted by INPI the Patent - Extender for capacitive proximity sensors.
  • Launch of MASS
  • Investment in the industrialization service of productions
  • Granted by INPI the Patent - Mechanical device to generate and inject gas inside a hermetic container to expel liquid to invalidate monetary notes.
  • Grant by INPI the Patent – Device to be fixed in cash transportation bags to allow the injection of ink or any other liquid directly inside the bag.
  • Conclusion of the EBRAX Training Center building and the Non-profit Technical School to enable high school students to obtain a placement in the job market with a view to continuity until university level completion.
  • Acquisition and refurbishment of a building for expanding the production area and business partners' assets and storage of items.
